Residual spaces formed between the irregular footprint of the house and surrounding palm groves are reconceived as intimate outdoor rooms for leisure, rest, and quiet contemplation.
A sensitive approach to materiality enhances the experience of a dynamic set of spaces in the house, featuring a mixture of refined and textured palette. Original glass and metal finishes are carefully restored and richly juxtaposed by wood, ceramic clay tiles, and natural stone in a collection of unique rooms.
